Chemical House Brickies Mate mortar plasticiser concentrate.
Concentrated blend of petroleum-based surfactants designed for the addition to mortar and some concrete mixes as an air entraining agent to promote easy laying of bricks & blocks. Effectively replaces the addition of lime in a mortar mix when lime is used as a plasticiser. However, Brickies Mate is not an equivalent to lime and will not increase the alkalinity of the blend.
Brickies Mate is a concentrate and must be diluted 1:19 in water before it can be used as a direct additive. See the below product data sheet for more information.
